M7 Wheel in Shops
I am pretty excited because after 12 years the first wheel incorporating a G-Sport hub is finally in shops.
The M7 wheel is a stock front wheel, built to the highest possible standards. Based around the legendary Marmoset 36 hole front hub, into a proven Odyssey 7ka rim with Odyssey's new top quality spokes.
Now you can get the same wheel that most of the Odyssey team use and love from any bike shop without the wait for a custom wheel build.
You can also be sure that thanks to the custom box it will arrive safe and sound and will have used less of the world's resources to get there.

will ther be a difference between the gsport spokes and the odyssey spokes? have you ever thought of using double butted spokes?

G-Sport spokes and pegs will hopefully be out later in the year.
They are going to be a little bit special but I cant say why yet...

what about the 48H and 36H Ribcage rims, when will these be available individually?

^^^ The other finish and 36 spoke versions are about a month behind the chrome 48's. So they should be in shops sometime in the second half of May.

Hey G. Just out of intrest what is the weight of the vandals?
Posted by: samm | April 24, 2006 06:23 PM
George,
can i use 2" stainless steel bolts on my marmoset hub? will it affect in strength?
Posted by: Daniil | April 27, 2006 11:22 AM
Hi Samm,
The Vandal hub is discontinued now, the weight was almost identical to Homers about 500g for a front and 520g for a rear.
Daniil,
I assume you mean 2" long? They will be fine, a little weaker than the stock bolts but it shouldnt hurt the hub as long as you look after them and replace them if they get damaged.

Those new rims look hot, along with that wheel. But i'm not to fond of your new box idea. Being a ups loader that funny shaped bx will only make my job harder! grrr argh!

Will the complete wheels be avaliable with the red and grey hubs? That'd be awesome!
